I have made this blog for the sole purpose of keeping track of the books I have read. Some day I will look back and say "WOW! I sure do read a lot!"
For those of you that come across this blog, I hope you find it useful. It may help you find your next book, get a new perspective on a book you've already read, or at the very least, provide a new way for you to waste a few minutes of your day.
I really love this series. I am very happy that there is another book coming out soon!! This book was crazy! Having fairies from hell was a very interesting twist on the whole fairy ideal. Especially since they are not small and cute, they are tall and sexy and self-centered. Nothing like Tinker Bell!!
I am happy that Sookie and Eric are now a couple. Or some what of a couple!! Their whole relationship is very strange...but extremely entertaining!! I wonder what is going to happen in the next book. Especially with the Weres and shifters coming out...it will be interesting to see how the author spins their story.
I also woder what the next characters are going to be...every book we learn about a new type of creature or a new major character. I wonder what will come next!!
I never thought I would say this...but I really hope Sookie and Eric become an item!! I know that once I finish writing this I am going to read my comments from the past books and I will probably be laughing at how many times I have changed my mind about the various characters. Especially Eric!
This book was different from the other because there were so many climaxes. In the other books there is usually one big bang. But this books has about five of them. After the first few I realized there had to be more to come because I was not even half way through the book. There was a werewolf bang, a vampire bang, a human bang, a witch bang....I loved it!!
WOW! This was by far the craziest of all the books. I cannot believe how much happens in such a short time span. That is what I love most about this series, they are short books and the action starts right away. There is no wasted time or paper, everything is action packed! I cannot wait for the last two books!!
The best part is that I do not know what to predict for the next two books. Sookie is definitely going to see Quinn again, but who knows what is going to happen to their relationship. And the whole Eric and Sookie being tied together is not only strange, but extremely creepy. I am pretty sure I do not want Sookie ending up with Eric. However, that is likely to change because at the end of each book I feel differently about all the characters.
It is not even worth speculating about what will come next, even if it is entertaining. The whole series is so unpredictable!! I wonder whether or not the HBO series will stick to the books. If so, they have a very expensive budget ahead of them! No matter what, though, I doubt they will compare to the books...it will be interesting to watch True Blood and see how it compares.
